My sister and I were looking for a way to spend our afternoon, so we decided to check out Mililani Town Center. The Town Center is located in the heart of Mililani and is conveniently located across from Wal-Mart, and is close to several restaurants. The Library is also just across the street from the town center.

When we arrived at Town Center, parking was easy because there is so much space. While there were plenty of people spending their afternoons shopping, going to a movie, or running errands (there are offices and banks located inside the Town Center, as well as stores), there were still plenty of parking spaces available.

The first place we went was the pet store. My sister, who is 11, was thrilled at all the animals we got to see. We wandered around the store for awhile looking at all of the fish, puppies, rabbits, mice, and rats. There were also pet crickets for sale, as well as any imaginable accessory needed for a pet.

The center of Mililani Town Center holds a small stage where there are often performers or live bands. Every Friday night a local band plays while listeners gather around the stage to enjoy the show. There are also a lot of family-friendly activities - such as Bingo nights and free dance exercise classes. On Monday mornings, the center stage at Town Center hosts clowns and a story time for small children. One of the most exciting and unique characteristics about the stage is that it’s surrounded with tiles that local elementary school children painted.

The town center is also a nice place to go on date nights, and my husband and I have spent many evenings at the movie theater and at the different restaurants located inside the Town Center. There are different ethnic restaurants, as well as chain stores such as Subway or Starbuck’s. Perhaps one of the best features of Town Center is the video game arcade, which is a great way to end any afternoon or evening.
